Our Values

At BENNI, we believe that creating with purpose leads to a lasting impact. Every decision we make, from how we manufacture to how we deliver, reflects our commitment to people and the planet. We're on a continual journey to do better, guided by the values that shape who we are.

We are deeply committed to fair and safe working conditions across every part of our supply chain. All of our manufacturing partners operate under current SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) certifications, ensuring responsible practices in labour, health and safety, the environment, and business ethics. Some of our suppliers have been working with us for over a decade throughout our careers, a reflection of the strong, long-term relationships we’ve built.

We also believe in building genuine, respectful relationships with our suppliers; partnerships rooted in mutual trust and benefit. It’s disappointing that in today’s climate, this kind of basic decency needs to be stated, but for us, it’s non-negotiable. We treat our suppliers as valued collaborators, and we’re committed to fostering environments where every contributor feels respected, supported, and fairly compensated.

Every BENNI piece is thoughtfully created with enduring quality and timeless design in mind - made to be worn, loved, and kept. We are constantly refining our fits, fabrications, and production processes to ensure our garments not only look and feel good, but truly stand the test of time. By focusing on durability, we encourage a more considered approach to consumption that reduces waste and honours craftsmanship. To support this, we've provided a 'Product Care' guide on our website, helping you get the most life out of every piece.
We're not perfect, but we're committed. Progress, not perfection, drives us forward as we continue to learn,
evolve, and do better - for our customers, our makers, and the world around us.

We produce in considered quantities to reduce excess and waste.

Our team works closely with trusted manufacturing partners who share our values and adhere to ethical and environmentally responsible practices. Through tight inventory management and small-batch production, we minimise overproduction while maintaining flexibility to meet genuine demand.

Every pattern is optimised to improve fabric yield and reduce textile offcuts; small details that make a meaningful difference.

Every detail counts - even down to the packaging your order arrives in. We use a combination of compostable and recycled bamboo mailers as well as compostable shipping labels to minimise waste and reduce our environmental footprint. Our packaging is designed to protect your pieces and the planet.

We’ve partnered with DHL’s GoGreen Initiative to further offset our environmental impact. This means that the emissions generated in the delivery of your BENNI order are calculated and neutralized through investments in verified climate protection projects. This Initiative actively uses Sustainable Aviation Fuel produced from renewable sources. It’s one small step toward a more climate-conscious future.

Fashion should never come at the cost of human rights.

BENNI has a zero-tolerance policy toward child labour, forced labour, discrimination, or unsafe working conditions. Our Supplier Code of Conduct requires:

  • Fair wages and working hours in compliance with local laws
  • Safe, hygienic working environments
  • Transparency and cooperation with audits or factory visits

We conduct due diligence and risk assessments on all new and existing suppliers, and any partner found to be in breach of these standards faces immediate investigation and corrective action.

Our Modern Slavery Statement outlines our proactive approach to identifying, preventing, and addressing modern slavery risks within our global supply chain because true responsibility extends beyond design.

Sustainability is not a milestone, it’s a mindset.

We know we’re not perfect, but we are committed to progress. Each year, we review our practices, refine our policies, and set new goals to further reduce our environmental impact and strengthen our social responsibility.

From design to delivery, we’re building a brand rooted in accountability and respect.
